The Great Lochwinnoch Scone Competition

scone.jpgScone-noisseur of the world

It’s Back, It’s a Wee Bit Bigger - and this time it’s Fruity! After the success of the inaugural event last year, the second Scone-noisseur of the World contest is being held in Lochwinnoch on Sunday 17th March 2019. Last year’s event attracted an enthusiastic bunch who enjoyed a fabulous fun day baking batches of scones. For 2019, it is hoped the competition will have space for even more entrants and this time contestants will be judged on who can bake the perfect fruit scone. One of the highlights of the contest was the enormous effort made by contestants in presenting their scones. So, in 2019 there will also be prizes for best presentation
